Mercury goes direct: The tractor’s finally off the road!

As Mercury goes direct, we breathe sighs of relief and cheer. During recent weeks, there have been many events on the global stage that have stemmed from miscommunication or a complete lack of it. Now that Mercury moves forward, communication lines reopen or widen.

However, it may take a few weeks before we’re back at the point where Mercury went retrograde. So, don’t expect immediate solutions or compromises.

AUGUST 29 2024 – MERCURY GOES DIRECT

On August 5, Mercury, the planet ruling communication, travel and commerce, went backwards. Mischievous Mercury likes to create confusion, misunderstandings and delays during this time.

But now Mercury goes direct or moves forward, and clarity and sensibility arrive. Mercury retrograde started in Virgo. It then moved into Leo, where it now makes a U-turn. Mercury has one more retrograde period this year, from November 25 until December 15. If possible, try to finish your Christmas shopping before the end of November. If what you buy does actually arrive, it probably won’t look like its picture.
