Facing what needs to be faced exposes what has been kept a secret for too long. No longer must you feel obliged to pretend you’re comfortable with what has made you uncomfortable.

Even if someone is less than honest with you, be honest with yourself. Even if someone is very persuasive and encourages you to reconsider your options in some way, be ‘live’ to the possibility that you might end up kidding yourself.

Something needs to be ‘broken down’ and rebuilt in some way. However, it’s important to focus on how much better a situation or arrangement will be from doing so.

To maintain control of and improve a volatile situation, all you need to do is smile, count to ten and let any tension dissipate. Trust that it doesn’t need to be handled any other way.
