Until May 20, the Sun‘s four-and-a-half-week journey through the sensual and grounded sign of Taurus is relatively uneventful. However, during the first week, the Sun squares up to both Mars and Saturn. It then forms an intense link with Uranus.

Stubbornness, clashes with authority figures, and a reluctance to accept change will likely be at the root of any discord.

But you’re encouraged to indulge in earthly pleasures. Expect your senses to awaken, fall in love, or take a keener interest in things that are enjoyable to look at, touch, and taste.

But this New Moon isn’t without its share of tension. You could feel pushed to accept that you can’t escape something or the reality of a particular situation. Sensual pleasures might take a back seat briefly.
