The Zodiac consists of twelve individual signs. Each planet moves through each sign and the twelve houses or ‘sectors’ associated with each. Sectors govern different areas of life. Your personal chart shows which house or sector each planet occupied at the time of your birth. That’s what makes your horoscope chart unique.
Within your chart, you will see some sectors have one or several planets in them while others will be empty. Because there are eight planets plus the Sun and Moon and twelve sectors, it is easy to see there are more houses than there are planets.
While many people will have empty houses in their chart, it’s important to remember that planets are on the move constantly and a sector that sits empty one day could find itself occupied the next. This also partly explains why two people born on the same day or within a day of each other can be very different.
The Seventh House describes your need for a partner, marriage and relationships.
It also rules those you consider to be your enemies and allies as well as business partnerships and any serious contractual agreement between two people or entities.
This House also affects certain services you might hire, such as solicitors or agents – basically anyone who might represent or collaborate with you.
The Seventh House does not cover romance or romantic involvements, they are ruled by the Fifth House.
