Your Sagittarius 2018 Career Horoscope to begin with there is nothing to see on the professional front other than what you would expect to see and at the start of any year that means literally nothing to see. This is the norm, for without major planetary activity, your two professional houses are only active at certain times of the year and the early months of each year are not one of those times.
The Sun moves through your work sector from the 20th April to the 21st May and through your career sector from the 23rd August to the 23rd September. Not just this year, but at the same time every year.
Always has and always will as it’s a case of where the Sun goes Venus and Mercury follow, so will always be at the epicentre of the most active points of any year on the job and career fronts.
There has been no major planetary activity in either of your professional houses since Jupiter left your career sector in September 2016 and from the get go it looks like it is back to the normal hum of every year.
In addition, as Mars visited both your work and career sectors last year he won’t return until 2019, suggesting an even quieter than normal year on both fronts. In the case of one of your professional houses that is the case, but on the other hand everything is set to change.
The area of your chart getting an ordinary update this year is your career sector. Apart from a Full Moon in your career sector on the 2nd March, the only planetary activity you have on the career front is from Ceres’ return on the 28th June to the Sun’s departure on the 23rd September.
That is still an impressive nearly three-month period and in light of what is happening on the job front, is more than enough to give career matters the push and momentum they need.
To start with it is business as usual on the job front, with things kicking off for the year when Venus moves through your work sector from the 31st March to the 25th April. Venus will get the ball rolling this year, returning to fuel your job confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction.
With the Sun moving through from the 20th April to the 21st May and Mercury from the 14th May to the 30th May, things should be all over within two months. Instead, it is while the Sun and Mercury are still here that everything changes, with Uranus returning to your work sector on the 16th May, for the first time since 1942.
Apart from a short break from the 7th November to the 6th March 2019, Uranus is here until 2027. This brings you to a massive new era of job growth that will continue for years.
What makes the timing auspicious, is 2018 is the first of a major three-year period for income growth, with the two destined to go hand in hand until Pluto leaves your income sector in 2024.
