You have been through some busy and potentially exhausting professional years, first on the job front and last year on the career front. This has planted a lot of seeds, created a lot of momentum and set things in motion that will continue to play out this year.
However, for the first time in several years, you may begin this new professional year wanting nothing more than some time off. That isn’t surprising, because the professional gods have taken themselves off on holiday as well.
The last planetary activity on the job front in 2018 only ran its course in early December, which is late in the year and on the career front just weeks earlier. You begin the year with no planetary activity in either of your two professional houses, with a chance to get your bearings before things take off again.
This rather civil start to the year is reflected in what is happening on both the job and career fronts this year. On both fronts there is enough happening to give you more than enough scope to accomplish what you want, but not so much that your professional game dominates your life.
You have been there and done that. Job and career matters are also having turns, creating some exciting pockets throughout the year. You won’t need to put your professional hat on for the first time this year until the Sun returns to your career sector on 20th January. With Mercury returning four days later but both gone by 20th February, this is a short opportunity to explore your options and to get this professional year off to an authentic start.
It is Venus’ return from 2nd March to 27th March that will create some exciting weeks on the career front, especially with Mars kicking off the most lucrative months of 2019 on 31st March. It is while Venus is here that you will have the first of two Full Moons in your work sector, on 21st March.
A second Full Moon on 19th April will capture all that has been building on the income, work and career fronts by this point. After that there is a chance to pull back and let things play out, with the most active months of the year on the job front, not kicking off until 14th September. Yet once things start to move on the job front opportunities will continue to open up through to 19th November. It is the final six weeks of that period, from 4th October to 19th November, that are likely to be the busiest.
