Starting the year with Mars, the warrior planet of the cosmos in your work sector is giving you an advantage from the start and especially as he has been here since August. Mars will return to your work sector every two years and will normally spend six weeks fueling your work passions, fighting and competitive spirit as well as firing things up and creating what can be the busiest but also the most productive weeks of any year. However, four months on Mars is not only still here but the retrograde turn that has not only kept him here but is making this his longest visit in eight decades is still in effect. Mars is a planet of action and not only starting the year still in retrograde motion but slowing down ahead of a direct turn on 13th January, there could be some frustration. However, this buys you time to cool your heels and even spend time back at the drawing board, knowing that once Mars gets the green light there will be no stopping this warrior planet.
While Mars will be on his own until leaving on 26th March, not only does he have almost the whole first three months of the year to start things his way and to create a huge amount of traction, he knows that he doesn’t have to bring things home. Knowing that the first of the faster planets will return just a few weeks later, Mars can focus on what you can start rather than on what you can finish. This will leave your work sector empty for the first time since last August, giving you a chance to catch your breath before Venus returns on 11th April to begin what is the normal planetary activity that work and job matters get each year, though with a huge advantage from the start. Like Mars, with Venus leaving on 8th May and the Sun not returning until 21st May, she will spend her whole time here on her own, allowing you to focus on exploiting the potential Mars has created.
It is when the Sun moves through from 21st May to 22nd June and Mercury from 12th June to 27th June that you can start tying things up, as all planetary activity on the job front for the year finally runs its course. Meanwhile, while it is Mars who has led an extraordinarily long period of planetary activity on the job front, he will do the same on the career front when he becomes the first planet to reach your career sector for the year on 28th August. It is while Mars is here that the Sun and Mercury will return but when Mercury leaves on 22nd October and the Sun on 24th October, this will end what is a short two month run though not for long, with Venus making a belated return from 8th November to 5th December, exploiting what the rest of the planets have set in motion.
