Psychic Readers: How Do They Do It?

You might question why I’ve included an article about psychic readers in my website. There’s nothing intuitive or psychic about astrology. It’s based on precise mathematical calculations and assessments made regarding the implications of planetary aspects. This is also based largely on lore dating back many thousands of years.
Many people believe astrology involves predicting the future. Astrology involves identifying opportunities and when the time is right to seize them. The decision surrounding whether or not – and how – we choose to seize them is ours.
WHAT ASTROLOGERS AND PSYCHIC READERS HAVE IN COMMON
Something astrologers and psychic readers do have in common is an ability to assess the past and connect it with both the present and the future. However, most psychics focus spiritually on a particular situation to gain impressions about what occurred, what’s occurring, and what is likely to occur. It’s important to note the word, ‘likely.’ Therefore, we must never underestimate the power of free will. Nothing conveyed by an astrologer or psychic reader is ever set in stone. Information provided by a psychic reader should be treated in the same way as what’s obtained from a horoscope or astrological consultation. Both are guides to making better decisions.
Additionally, both astrologers and psychic readers will confirm some people are easier to ‘read’ or interpret for than others!
METHODS PSYCHIC READERS USE TO OBTAIN INFORMATION
Ask ten psychic readers how they provide their insights, and you’ll probably receive ten different answers. However, most experienced psychic readers have narrowed down their skills and learned to rely on what they believe to be most accurate. Some of these include:
Intuition: We all possess intuition. It’s our silent inner voice or ‘gut feeling’ that is often more reliable than we give it credit for being. Anyone can hone and develop their intuitive abilities, but it takes time, effort and patience. Many psychic readers have, through their own efforts or professional training, learned to hone and develop theirs in ways beyond what most people have managed to do.
Tarot Cards: These are probably the most accepted and popular psychic tool. Although little more than colorful cards, these contain images a psychic reader connects to a client’s questions. Popular with clairvoyants and claircognizants, a psychic reader might draw one or more cards, depending on the complexity of the ‘spread’ or pattern of chosen cards, to answer specific questions.
Runes: This involves reading symbols derived from ancient Norse language and mythology. Often in the form of polished stones, runes are spread or drawn similarly to Tarot cards.
Crystals: Crystals assist psychic readers to connect with their clairvoyant abilities. Visions provide answers to questions. Different crystals have unique and individual energetic properties. They act only as a conduit to seeing past, present and future events.
Numerology: This is the study of the occult meanings of numbers and the influence of numbers on a person’s life. It is essentially a reading based specifically upon numerical values such as a date of birth and letters in names.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR A PSYCHIC READING
To ensure you have the best experience possible with a psychic reader, it’s important to do the following:
1. Ensure you have a clear reason in mind
Don’t book a psychic reading just for the sake of it. Try to have something in mind that you hope to gain from the experience. After all, it’s your reading but try not to focus intently on one, specific outcome. Psychic readers focus on specifics wherever possible.
2. Take your time to choose the right psychic reader
You’re the client. You’re paying for your reading, and it’s important to take the necessary time to confirm areas a psychic reader is skilled in. Most provide a brief overview of their specialty area(s), and many are vetted for their abilities by organizations that promote them.
3. Cynicism and skepticism will hamper your psychic reading experience
All that’s needed on your part for the best psychic reading experience is an open mind. Trying to ‘catch out’ a reader or commencing a reading wanting to be convinced of the reader’s abilities only delays and complicates the experience. Reserve any judgment until after your reading.
4. Have a maximum of two questions prepared
As mentioned above, psychic readings don’t always go entirely to plan. Numerous factors can take conversations down unforeseen avenues. However, your psychic reader wants to work with you. Having one or two questions prepared can help the reader to focus on specific areas and offer more than a general reading.

It’s essential to understand and accept that any information or insight provided by your reader is a guide to making better decisions. You are not obliged to change any aspect of your life that you’re comfortable with in the light of any reading. You remain, at all times, able to exercise free will.
