It was Jupiter and Saturn’s departure from your financial sector just before Christmas that ended the most intense focus on money matters in decades. As well as ending Saturn’s three year financial boot camp, after 12 months here Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion has planted the seeds for ongoing financial growth. Whether 2020 was a hard, challenging, expansive or opportune financial year it is likely to have been exaggerated, with those levels of intensity dialling back while you get to enjoy the benefits. Having graduated from Saturn’s financial boot camp you now can tackle anything, able to move into 2021 ready to take your financial power back if you haven’t already. There is none of that intensity this year but there is more than enough support to nurture the seeds sown.
The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of January in your financial sector, with every year beginning with the solar spotlight on your financial situation and money matters. You also begin the year with Mercury here, with the benefit of his smart head for money until 9th January. This is the same day that Venus, the planet of money returns and unlike the Sun’s reality checks and Mercury’s strategic approach to money matters, she is focused on fuelling your financial confidence, desires and expectations. Venus’ departure on 2nd February will leave Pluto, the planet of change and revolution on his own, as he had been for much of his time since returning in 2008 until Saturn returned in 2017. However, Venus will come full circle from 6th November but won’t leave until March 2022, ending this financial year in a very different way to how 2020 ended.
If the focus at either end of the year is on money matters as a whole and in particular what you do with and how you manage the money you have, then it is income potential that dominates the middle months of the year. While the Sun doesn’t return to your income sector until 21st June each year, Mars’ return on 24th April will get things off to an early start, with continuous planetary activity through to the Sun’s departure on 22nd July. This is thanks to Mars’ first visit since 2019 and the over two months that Mercury will spend here instead of the normal 14 to 15 days. The most lucrative month of 2021 is likely to be June.
