Starting the year with Mars in your work sector is an advantage though also a mixed blessing. This means that you begin the year with your work passions, fighting and competitive spirit fuelled and with all of Mars’ warrior spirit in order to hit the ground running. While Mars will leave on 7th January with the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior planet of the cosmos here for the rest of the year, even when the faster moving planets aren’t here will keep the momentum going. The downside is that Mars will normally spend six weeks in your work sector but by the time you move into 2021 he has been here for nearly seven months. When Mars returned in June 2020 it was to begin what is usually the busiest six weeks of any year but instead, a retrograde turn kept him here for the whole second half of last year.
Chances are you will arrive at the doorstep of 2021 feeling battle weary with both the scars and spoils of battle. It is only after Mars leaves and things have a chance to settle that you will start to appreciate the after effects of the warrior planet’s longest visit to your work sector in 32 years. This will be a chance to let things settle and as you will also begin the year with Venus, the planet of money in your income sector, to start picking through the spoils of war. After Mars leaves, Eris will keep the momentum going but it is in March that what could be a defining month for work and job matters will begin. During the month that the Sun will be in your work sector, from 20th March to 20th April, Venus and Mercury will also move through, compressing everything into a short few weeks.
This is when a lot of the implications from the seven months that Mars has spent here will be experienced, giving things just enough time to settle before the Sun, Mercury and Venus join forces to jump start things. After that, once again, Eris will go back to keeping things on track and apart from the days around a Full Moon on the job front on 31st October there will be no major changes this year. Instead, all the new developments will be on the career front where Mars, making his first visit to your career sector since 2019 will lead the way into an exciting and defining few months on 10th June. From Mars’ return to the Sun’s departure on 23rd August, the professional gods will throw everything they have at gaining as much momentum and traction on the career front as possible.
