From the get go it is clear that this is no ordinary year. It was in the closing weeks of 2020 and just before Christmas that Saturn and Jupiter returned to your career sector within the space of just three days, putting the two most powerful planets in the solar system here for the first time in six decades. Jupiter and Saturn are powerful in their own right but together they not only complement each other but create something even more powerful than the sum of their individual parts. Jupiter is here to promote professional growth, opportunity and to expand your options. Saturn is here to demand that you face challenges, dig deep and access your own inner strength, whether by choice or because of what you come up against.
Together Jupiter creates a sense of what’s possible and Saturn gives you the power to move mountains if you have to in order to make that a reality. Saturn is here until 2023 but Jupiter will come and go, racing through the full length of your career sector in just five months, something that will normally take him 12 months. Jupiter will leave on 14th May but this is just an initial run through, for he will retrograde back in from 29th July to 29th December to go back over things, making sure that no stone has been left unturned and no opportunity missed. This is the background that everything else will play out against this year and that includes the ordinary planetary activity that you will get on the career front each year. This year, this starts with Mercury’s return on 9th January and will end with his departure on 16th March.
In that time the Sun and Venus will move through while a retrograde phase will keep Mercury here for over two months. What will also get the year off to an impassioned and motivated start is the fact that you have Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos in Taurus from 7th January to 4th March, fueling your passions, drive, warrior and competitive spirit. Jupiter will be gone from your career sector when all this year’s planetary activity on the job front will play out but with Saturn in retrograde motion, this will be a chance for career matters to step back. The most active months of the year for work and job matters will be from Venus’ return to your work sector on 16th August to Mercury’s departure on 6th November.
