Libra 2020 Love Horoscope

On both the romantic and relationship fronts this year brings a mix of the ordinary and the extraordinary. In any ordinary year, there will be a lot of focus on matters of the heart and on all things romantic in January and February, as the Sun and the faster moving planets move through your romantic sector. The same thing will happen on the relationship front, when the same planets reach your relationship sector in March and April and because of the close proximity, there can be an overlap between the two. This year you don’t need to wait for the Sun’s return to your romantic sector on 21st January, for you begin the year with Venus, the planet of love here until 14th January. By the time the Sun leaves on 19th February this will end what is the ordinary amount of focus that romantic matters get each year, but this is far from the end of the story.

Things may go quiet for a few weeks, but then they roar back into life in an extraordinary way, starting with Saturn’s return on 22nd March. This is Saturn’s first visit in three decades and while he will retrograde back out on 2nd July, he will not only return on 17th December but just three days before Jupiter’s return on 20th December will keep off your luckiest year for love in over a decade. Back in March, it is just days after Saturn’s return that Mars’ return on 31st March and position here until 13th May will create an extraordinary situation. Saturn returns to take matters of the heart seriously and to prepare for what lies ahead, while Mars returns to fire up your romantic passions and fighting spirit, ready to seize romantic opportunities now.

Meanwhile, something similar is happening on the relationship front. Here there is ongoing planetary activity, with the dwarf planet Eris and Chiron, the planet of healing quietly at work in the background for years if not decades to come. Things become more active when Venus returns from 8th February to 5th March, the Sun from 20th March to 20th April and Mercury from 11th April to 28th April. This is the ordinary and mundane focus that relationship matters get at around this time every year. While this is happening just as Mars and Saturn are creating some extraordinary conditions on the romantic front, it is not until midyear that your relationships get access to extraordinary conditions as well. It begins with Mars’ return to your relationship sector on 28th June for what should be a six week visit aimed at spicing and shaking things up. Instead, a retrograde phase from 10th September to 14th November will keep Mars here for the rest of the year, not leaving until January 2021. Mars will still be here when Saturn and Jupiter make their game changing return to your romantic sector, just days apart in December.
