Whether professionally or with your personal and professional goals and ambitions, this is a massive year for setting and reaching goals. In determining where the power in any given year lies, it is from combining where Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion is in your chart and where Saturn, the hard taskmaster of the cosmos but also the planet that gives you the power to move mountains is. The general rule is that you look to Jupiter for the opportunities that any specific year might bring and to Saturn for where the challenges might present. However, once every 20 years they come together and you have the opportunities and challenges come together and this provides enormous power. This allows you to put in the hard work and effort but then achieve a lot as a result.
It was in December 2019 that Jupiter entered your career sector, the most professionally charged and competitive part of your chart and when he did, he not only joined Saturn here but Pluto as well. It is in mid January Saturn and Pluto will align after two years together here, creating some major momentum. Yet as they do, all planets here will be confronted by a lunar eclipse on the home front that will bring a timely work/life balance reminder. These work/life balance reminders will continue through the early months of the year. Meanwhile, while Pluto will remain in your career sector all year and Jupiter until 20th December, Saturn will take some time out, returning to your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking from 22nd March to 2nd July. This is a chance to set some things in motion, with Saturn returning again on 17th December and Jupiter three days later, in order to there in 2021 what they are doing in 2020 in your career sector.
In the meantime, another important impact on this year is Mars and as your ruling planet, wherever he is this will have a marked impact on you. To begin with, Mars will fight against the professional juggernaut forming and will spend the first six weeks of 2020 fueling a passion for adventure. However, he too will jump on the professional bandwagon or wherever it is that your competitive spirit and need to succeed is drawing you, from 17th February to 31st March. It is then that Mars will follow Saturn into your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking, making this a fairly significant detour into focusing on personal and professional networking. However, by far the most significant impact Mars will have this year is with his return to Aries on 28th June, for what should be a six week visit aimed at firing up your passions, drives and competitive spirit. Instead, Mars will spend the rest of the year here, not leaving until January 2021.
