The year begins with Mars in your relationship sector but gone by 3rd January, this is more a case of the final days of an extensive amount of focus on your relationships last year spilling into the early days of this year. Either way, this allows you to begin the year with your relationships a priority and regardless of the experiences from last year, with a good sense of what you are fighting for from the get go. It is just a week after Mars leaves that the Moon will not only return to your communication sector on 10th January but as an eclipsing Full Moon. If Mars leaves you with a lot of strong emotional responses, the past and unsaid words a voice on the relationship front, this will be a chance to get them a voice. This will also be a defining point in defining what you want from your relationships and what they need from you.
After that, apart from a romantically charged Full Moon on 10th March and a Full Moon in your relationship sector on 7th May, there will be no planetary activity on the romantic or relationship fronts until the second half of the year. However you do have Venus, the planet of love returning to Taurus from 5th March to 4th April. This will allow Venus to move through before your birthday month and new solar year begins, with a chance to make sure that when the Sun does return to Taurus you already know what you want from matters of the heart and your relationships. In the meantime, it is in the second half of the year that you will find all the planetary activity on the romantic and relationship fronts, which is usually the case.
On the romantic front, this runs from 20th August to 28th October, with the final 25 days the most romantically charged. On the relationship front, after Mars leaves your relationship sector in the early days of the year, the next planet to arrive will be Mercury, on 27th September. It is fitting that it is Mercury, planet of communication who kicks things off, especially as he will spend quite a bit of time here this year. Normally spending just 14 to 15 days giving your relationships a voice, Mercury will spend a month here before a retrograde turn on 14th October will see him retrograde back out, only to return for a second visit from 11th November to 2nd December. In that time Venus, planet of love will return and not leaving until 16th December, she will have the final say on relationship matters in 2020.
