Because Jupiter only left your financial sector in December 2019 and the Sun only left just before Christmas, the fact that you begin the year with no planetary activity here or in your income sector still puts more focus on money matters. With continuous planetary activity in your financial sector since October 2018 and Mercury having just left in the closing days of 2019, what you have in the New Year is a chance to take your money hat off. This is just a short break for by 3rd January Mars, the warrior planet of the cosmos will be here to fuel your financial passions and fighting spirit, through to his departure on 17th February. This is less the start of anything new and more a chance to exploit the potential created last year. Unlike your income sector, where there are some exciting developments this year, your financial sector is more focused on what you do with and how you manage the money you have. This makes this a chance to spend the first six weeks of the year taking your financial power back.
After that, there will be no planetary activity in either of your two money houses until two events are set to change the dynamics of this whole financial year. The first event is Venus’ return to your income sector on 4th April, an ordinary event that is set to have extraordinary consequences. Ordinary because Venus, the planet of money returns once a year, with the 24 days she usually spends here the most potentially lucrative of any year. Extraordinary because Venus won’t just spend 24 days here and instead won’t leave until 8th August, over four months later. This is because of a retrograde turn on 13th May, which until turning direct on 25th June will open the doors to the past, second chances and untapped income potential. It is during that time that the Sun and Mercury will move through but it is 16 days before the Sun’s return on 21st May that the second event that will change the dynamics of this financial year takes place.
On 5th May the lunar nodes will move into your two money houses and this will have implications on both fronts. The South Node, which is more about the past and completion, will return to your financial sector where there is a chance to capitalize on all the planetary activity here last year and during Mars’ time here in the first six weeks of the year. At the same time the North Node, which is all about the future, new potential and on steering things in a lucrative direction, will return to your income sector on 5th May. The North Node is the second luckiest force in the solar system behind Jupiter, with its first visit to your income sector in 17 years coming just as Venus is spending four months here. Until leaving in January 2022 the lunar nodes bring opportunities on both sides of the financial fence, while also policing a balance between money coming in and money going out.
